Mark, I'd really love it if a day before a batch is to be put out, you could email the workers. It would really help!
Hello Mark, I do want to work on your HITs. But I don't have the required qualification. Will you please tell when are you gonna load the next batch of HITs to attain the MEDICAL QUALIFICATION?
He has answered that a couple of times in the thread. He has a few hundred quals to go through, determining if people who have the qual are actually doing any work etc. IIRC he's going on holiday soon so I'm not sure what he'll have the time to do but he did state he wants to go through current quals before putting out another qual batch.
Hey, I saw the practice test batch recently. Is it the qualification batch or something? Because to attempt that practise batch one should have the medical qualification.
The qualification batch does not require the qualification. If you have emailed me I will notify you directly when a qual batch is to go up, but this does not seem like it will happen before I go on vacation. Which is this friday. ~ Mark L.
I can't send out an email to all the workers necessarily, but I can send out a message through mturk. Would that be acceptable in the future? ~ Mark L.
This batch is for workers, right? Yeah, I only just realized it wouldn't be possible unless he had our emails but I think mass email through mturk is possible?
I think it is, although I don't know for sure. I've gotten a heads-up from another requester like that before. Probably just a blast to all workers with certain of the requester's qual.
I live in SoCal and we're getting arctic winds. You have no idea how it feels to have cold wind blow in your face on a cloudless day. Much worse than applying ice to your face.
Believe me, I know. The winter before I moved from Chicago to Denver, we had wind chills down to -70. The Chicago humidity was miserable. I love Colorado winters in comparison. It's snowing like crazy in the mountains, and we're expecting 4-8 here in the west 'burbs by tonight. Perfect day to curl up with a cup of hot chocolate and a batch of MedCrowds!
