Okay guys, granit was nice enough to find the Amazon general customer service number for me (because I'm seriously panicking here and can't really concentrate... I'm going to try to keep my eye on Turkalert for y'all and post good HITs til they either suspend me permanently or re-activate my account.) Amazon Payments is on my side at least. Well, the guy I talked to was lol. He sent them an internal memo on my behalf, to speed things along. Plus he said he would send me a copy of it. They'll get back to me within 1-2 business days. No offense, but with Amazon's track record, I will believe it when I see it. I used to sell on Amazon. All my old college textbooks. I had one guy say that the book never made it to his house. I had the book sent and completed the next day after purchase. The complaint was filed two days after I sent it. (Not enough time for sure...) A week later, I had another complaint from someone that the book arrived with the side of it a little "wet". I packed it in a nice sturdy box. The customer never purchased insurance. I was found against by Amazon because I was supposed to pay for insurance, tracking and all that. I get a 2.50 credit for shipping. the book was 3.50 to ship without all that extra. I would have made a whole $2.00 on the sale. Next day, account suspended and set to terminate in 30 days. $480 on hold for 30 days to cover any "future complaints". Amazon is out to make whoever makes them the most money happy. I haven't had much love for amazon since then. I gave MTurk a try to give them a sort of second chance....
