VERY MUCH AGREED!!! Which is why I am saying: Don't do more than your HIT approvals can absorb to keep your rating up above par if you get rejected! Do the work correctly, don't just rush through! RETURN any that are ambiguous! *Don't do any HIT from ANYBODY you aren't comfortable with - first impressions are usually correct!
ok so I have switched to the $0.16 CS hits. search keywords on google. am i suppose to giving them the top return? or the best fit for the search term in my opinion?
You just copy and paste the TOP GREEN colored URL into the field on the HIT page. You do not do anything else! Don't even open the page! *EDIT* Apparently I could be wrong here... I've done many many of these with no feedback emails or rejections. The instructions could have changed since I read them last or I could be doing them wrong. I'll check as soon as I have more available.
it's good to do cs but they have a cap so do as many as you can but I suggest this person they approve in 5 minutes and they won't go away lol this will get your numbers up as long as you're not still in the 10 day probation period. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&requesterId=A8YMQKGCB9YXK
RWS i read the instructions multiple times lol. guys got me so worried about rejections now I am trying to cover every angle to be sure not to screw up. In the example they provide it shows the results they got for their search. directly above the right answer in the search results is another green link. so they say "Step 2: Copy and paste the Url of the most relevant result " and then show a picture of them picking the 2nd one listed. hence my confusion.
You pick the best one, in your opinion. I've never been rejected on those and I've sometimes chosen the 8th one. The thing is, when it's a company, the top one is often the most relevant, but if it's a person, then it could be anything.
I can't get to the instructions right now.... Because I'm up to my limit... But unless they changed the instructions on that HIT - it was the top listing (or most relevant in GOOGLE terms as the top listing is their opinion of most relevant.) I've always chosen the top listing... Never gotten a feedback email (which they do send if their is an issue) or had any rejections. Sorry I can't be of more help but I just can't get to one of the HITs to read the instructions right now. *When I can get to them - I'll review it and if I'm wrong many apologies! I've just been so busy working on these batch HITs I am a bit too quick to hit the send button some times.
Step 1: Open Google and search the provided keyword Step 2: Copy and paste the Url of the most relevant result In the example shown in the instructions, the "correct" choice they have is not the first (TOP) one, but somewhere in the middle. But, as I noted earlier, the most relevant is often the top one. Also, I think it's noteworthy that RWStein has always chosen the top and never gotten rejected and I only choose the top about 70% of the time and never gotten rejected. This means that this is a stable HIT.
instruction image being a comp geek has its advantages. (added the red arrow thats not normally there)
Gotta agree that those Praveen tweets can be pretty entertaining. I've seen this retweet three times: In Minnesota it's illegal for any man to have sexual intercourse with a live fish. Another I liked: Oh hey guy masturbating in his car outside the store. Yeah I see you. You're in a no parking zone.
keep pressing forward! diligence diligence. Sooner than you know it you'd be past the 1000 mark near the 5000 mark.
For the twitter hits are you guys looking up the twitter handles? Im just curious because sometimes the tweet is just a simple mention of a twitter user.
anyone familiar with TransTest2> (ID A4T0Z8BCOE6DH) Did a few, still pending, reading mixed reviews on TO
If that's the entire tweet, I look up the name to see if it might be an Olympic athlete. All mine from yesterday approved, including a couple that I was worried about, because they were pretty subjective calls. A dozen have approved from this morning, too.
did them before all were approved. Did some today hopefully will approve. they take me about a minute to do each. good pay.
I'm not going to lie, its pretty disappointing when I come into these threads and there's more posts asking clarification or questions about certain requester's rather than actual HITs. Should we all try to keep the chatter to a minimum and keep the thread focused on posting legitimate HITs?
