OK! Bored as hell! No decent HITs. So let's share recent good requesters, just for shits and giggles.

I am personally very fond of CrowdFlower as they pay quick and don't REJECT HITs; although their internal quality control questions are extremely frustrating and if your not careful choosing which HITs of theirs to do you will work for close to nothing.

I am also very fond of CrowdSource. They pay well and FAST! They are, however, VERY strict on their editing guidelines for writing tasks and do not hesitate to provide "constructive" criticism through their editing workers to let you know when you have issues with your work.

Redwood is great for getting numbers up and they pay fast - just not very well!

If you don't mind the occasional porn Jim Young usually has up $0.01 HITs to review pictures. Guidelines are lax and they are VERY quick... They auto pay in minutes and are good to get numbers up.

Those are some of my favorite regulars... What do you all got?

Well, yeah, that's their whole operating philosophy.
They pay well, but they're really strict.
Instead of giving money to scammers with plurality, they really watch a smaller workforce.

I am cool as a cucumber with this relationship.

Same here. I wish other requesters were like this. Would leave more work for the dedicated hard workers like you and I.

I have several, but they post infrequently so it is difficult to pick one. I will give you a few of my favourite steady requesters. Several months ago Cloud Harmony was my favourite. I could get 2 or 3 of their HITs done every day for little effort at 25c. But I have only done one from them in the past month, so its difficult to put them at the top of list. For a while Viking2012 was posting steadily and were good for filling in during quiet times. Then a month ago, they changed things and I don't like their new format which forces you to do 100 or 250 at a time. Now the steadiest requester I work for is CP_Products. They changed their requests several weeks ago making them much easier to do. They always approve and usually within a few hours. But if you ask again in a month's time, I will probably have another choice.

Sweet info... I have not done any of these requesters HITs.

You talk a lot about requesters where you do 100 or even many more of a specific task for them all in one shot. I can never find anyone who has that quantity of HITs AND lets you do that many... I suppose if I could do that many of a particular HIT in a row I would become VERY quick at it. Good way to make the money!

My fav believe it or not is classify this. I been making 10-14$ almost every day just off them. Got to be smart bout how you do em though. Two lakes is another good one. Movie enquirer is definitely one of my favs also. Andy K is another really good one. Heck I can go on and on I got many that are my favorites all pretty much on equal standing with me.

Has anyone else noticed that Andy K's old HITs seem to now be going thru dolores/crowdflower?
At a fraction of the pay?

I see them all the time from various requesters. I usually stay awar from these kinds of HITs. They provide a spreadsheet or list of something and ask to fill in the spreadsheet with 100 pieces of data and upload it. The big disadvantage is it is all or none proposition. If you are wrong on a couple of entries which is to be expected, will they accept it? I like the way Viking2012 used to do things. Every task was a separate HIT. If I got rejected, fine. But I could also cherry pick the ones I wanted to do. And Viking2012 had a very poor record of nonsensical HITs like asking for the user manual for a TV cable.

Although the spreadsheet option does sound intriguing and if you see one please let me know... That's not what I meant. What I meant was what you are talking about with Viking... Doing hundreds of single HITs like that. I can never find a job that has that many HITs that will let you do that many. I always get capped some where. Sometimes 10 sometimes 50. But never been able to sit and do hundreds. Let me know if you see anything like that!

I did.. Yes, because for those of us that are below 1000 HITs or people like me who finally got over 1000 it was HITs like Redwood that allowed us to get there... Waste of our time... Basically no money... But now better HITs are available and a single reject won't put us under 99% approval... You know?

Harvey Bourlard has had, up until yesterday, tons of little debate snippets in french. All you had to do was listen/watch the videos side by side and compare them quickly in terms of sentiment qualities. Didn't matter if you don't speak french. Pretty easy, pretty quick and $0.40 each. And I did TONS of them. Approve and pay same day.

Hervé Bourlard. I thought that's who you meant, but didn't say anything.

I could easy judge someones sentiment by facial and body language alone so I am guessing he used that way to figure them out. Nothing wrong with that if he submitted quality work IMO.

The point was to study body language and tone of voice.

No.. He was looking for people who did not speak french... He wanted a rating of body language and sentiment based on voices being raised, hand gestures, arguing, etc...

I disagree completely people can smile in your face while cursing you out in a different language, I see it all the time in this melting pot of New York City.
