Wish I could tell you, but 99.9% of my rejections came from Amazon's own HITs in late 2005 during the beta. Lots, I'm sure. I ran up 2281 over the course of a couple of weeks in December of that year (we all did -- Amazon was brutal). Since 2005, my largest group was just two at once on August 8th, 2011, worth $5.60. Don't think I've had any rejections other than those two HITs, 2006-2013.
Mine was about 15 at once. It was for a HIT that was very similar to another one posted by the same requester. I didn't realize that I was doing a different HIT right away so I wound up with those rejections.
Don't remember the requester exactly but it was when I first started. I think it was called something like Craft Fair Listings. Rejected like 30 or 40 of them. Had to work hard to get back above 98% approved.
When I first started turking I was doing amazon's hits and I got 10 rejections but I did 1000 hits so no big deal. I get occasional rejections here and there-it's going to happen when you're cranking out hundreds or thousands of hits per day-nobody is perfect. I did those stupid military bid hits a couple months ago and got half of them rejected. Thankfully I only did around a dozen total and I had done hundreds of other hits so it didn't hurt me too much. I don't bother requesters about it. I know I must have done something wrong and they surely don't pay enough for me to waste even more time whining to them over some ten cent hit. If I ever did get a massive rejection though I would be trying to find out if others had the same experience with that requester and if so, then it would be ON! I'm a force to be reckoned with when I've been wronged on purpose
550 which were reversed. 100+ Crowdsource Call the Tire / Auto Store hits (Back in the day) - Reversed
Got 12 rejected on a hit rating words in order of formality. It was 6:00am, had been up over 24 hours, and had a screaming baby while doing them. Lesson learned, dont do a new batch of hits unless the first one gets approved, if you're unsure. Second, dont do new or complicated hits when you're insanely tired. Im at 97% rating because of it, i will seriously need 1782 hits approved to get back up to 99%
I once stayed up for 48 hours turking to get all the hits from one requester that I could because good batch hits are so rare and you never know when you'll have an opportunity to make some money again. Feast or famine...
' Sacrifices you have to make working online. I often tell people, there is no set time schedule I work.
Exactly! I work when there's something that pays me enough. Otherwise I put my time to better use cleaning, hanging with friends or whatever. This sitting all day long doing .02 hits for a $4 day is gross stupidity. But if the money is there, I'm in it to win it
119 rejected due to a faulty hit. The info didn't auto-save upon submission. He pulled the batch, reposted, and they worked great. I made a lot of $$ on the remaining batch. He said he put in a request to Amazon to reverse all of the rejections because they were his fault, but, alas, 37 days later and still no reversal. I think I'm eating those rejections.
A few weeks after I started turking I got 67 rejections from Liat. Don't know his last name, though. :/ I'm glad it was only 67! I heard of someone else getting 500+ So over half my rejections are from him! The other half are probably from Readabl and Delf >w<
I think mine was from user453, that's 2 years ago, I've got 24 rejection and 15 were reversed. After that, I kept a lists of requester whose approval is majority rule.
