    seems like he is intentionally not letting people run PC however they want
    doesn't believe people when they say they are already running in a window
    won't allow the alarm to be shut off
    doesn't have anything to do with the window being in focus or on top
    and if it did, why would he want to force everyone to do that?

    is there something about MTurk that makes developers go insane after awhile
    stfu about running PC in its own window already
    people are making the tradeoff let them do it and shut off the annoying nags

    Why not just turn your volume down to barely audible? When I was doing PC, I also changed the sound in the script. I believe I found a suitable sound online and substituted its URL. No coding experience necessary.
