I assume the requestor has been around for a good long while and knows what they want...but why would submission rate even be a consideration in the first place...? Maybe someone w/Masters should ask em.....?
I have often wondered if the submission rate ever came in to play. Guess that answers my question, but sounds like this is news to everyone.
That's what I did...I knew I should have listened to the thread about their mass rejections. I don't get it. Good thing I have 11,000 HITs to back up on or that would have severely crippled me. Also good news is that Castingwords and Crowdsource don't require 99 percent Accepted rates. All is not lost and I can make up those numbers eventually. No more batch HITs for me.
Not sure if this has been posted alread...seems like a good batch. Great TO. Title: Collect URLs - Task A Requester: D W [A307U62YWUNUKP] (TO) Description: Collect the following URLs from a social site Reward: $0.05 Qualifications: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 99 Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2RTSP6AUC26D8W9W1SUV9FK0ERM29U Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
I did the tagging photos and the moderate tag ones. This is the response I got from them: Hi Justin, There is a reason your tasks were rejected. You're score for accuracy was .088 percent. That's less than 1% accuracy. Unfortunately, our clients require 95% accuracy. You're kinda a way off even a reasonable baseline. With regrets, Todd I returned this email saying I had no idea what that number meant and I thought I was doing good because my other numbers were very good. So for those of you who don't want mass rejection, don't ignore that percentage to the right because it needs to be above 95 percent or they won't approve any of them. So if your working on them with a score below that, but the middle score was an 83 percent like mine, stop... PS- The percentage was the Tag uniqueness...who here knows what that means? My other tagging quality was 81 percent...I don't get it.
They are taking me on average 3-5 seconds each, ridiculously easy, and they are on a 1 day auto approve this time.
