yeah if your in a homezoo or something it is impossible to do the captcha's because each hit goes so fast
Been having this same glitch on the Categorize: Website HITs from Crowdsource. If you ever have to categorize a site as Legal: Legal Services. When you go to submit the HIT it will look like it's not working. You go back to the number you put "Legal: Legal Services" for and it shows the "you must enter something in this field" or whatever. So you do it again and then click on your HITs, HITs assigned to you. Continue HIT. Then it will submit it and everything is fine. I've done this a couple more times. I should let them know its an issue.
I ran into this too and stumbled upon the same "HITs assigned to you" solution. I didn't realize it was specific to the Legal Services until you mentioned it.
Pray that a Master's rains down on you! Too bad it's not lifted after a set amount of accepted hits, like 5k or less.
I honestly don't understand the captcha thing AT ALL. Why not just put a limit on the number you can accept at time? (which they do) If you're doing HITs (and doing them correctly) everything should work itself out naturally.
I've never had a problem with the codes in HITs that aren't being attacked by the masses. That's why I have another dummy tab open for only entering in the captcha's (NETMSI, etc.), then going back to the hits being worked on and skipping the current one bypassing the captcha (if that makes sense). It's still irritating but somewhat doable.
I remember seeing someone on here using Oscar Smith for captchas, but that he ended up blocking him because of this.

I hate captchas anyway, but sometimes these are impossible and incredibly sneaky. Doing things like putting the last line of an N at the first line of an H. It's just so frustrating sometimes. On another note, only 1000 approvals to 2500, yay? Today was a useless day for me until these crowdsource batches hit.
Not bad, I've been in the hospital for the past week and a half and made over 50 bucks since 8:00 tonight. Still going strong. Sadly, they wouldn't let me turk at the hospital. Those Bastards!
Yep, saw that too and that's why I don't pull up Oscar's anymore. Not sure why it was a big deal for him.

I don't do Oscars any more, just for the sheer fact that they are ridiculously underpaid (even as a means to get numbers) If you're under a certain number of HITs they are good, but once you get above 2500 and you can do some other batches, they are essentially useless (unless the well is really dry)
I understand that... in the context of sites OTHER than mturk. But due to the very nature of the site itself, the HITs themselves would stop bots.
