I haven't found it to be very reliable honestly. Sometimes I get an email, sometimes I get nothing, sometimes I get an email hours after the HITs are posted and miss them. It's just hit or miss.
The email address it is sent from is alerts@turkalert.com

Coming to this forum is the most reliable way to find out about HITs in my opinion.

I accidentally added a school that is listed there already. Please let me know how to delete it. Thanks

Same here. I signed up for it and added some requesters and hardly ever get an email. If I do get an email it is late and someone on here finds out before I get notified. I quit relying on it.

If you guys are on chrome, check out Page Monitor and Auto Refresh Plus. They monitor pages and notify you when changes occur. If you are on Firefox, check out Update Scanner.

  8. You cant get in trouble for using these?

Why would you? It's practically TurkAlert, isn't it? The only one that's questionable is ARP, and you shouldn't need to refresh more than once every minute anyways.

I don't see an issue with using them. I've used Page Monitor and ARP for over a month now, and haven't had an issue.

Huh. Well I'll have to test them out a bit first, see how confident I can be with the work..

  11. I agree. As long as you do not abuse them I do not see it being a problem.

How long is it taking Rubin to approve lately? He used to approve the same day, but I did a bunch yesterday with no approvals yet.

I have done a lot (and I mean a LOT) of those, I also have rejections, but just never submit a HIT without a name, (if you can't see it, then return the HIT) I never got a rejection since.

Yeah the one that got rejected was questionable since there was no company name on the letter.... I just typed that it was a "Dues statement and no company name was listed".... so I would say they are safe to do. Just return anything that isn't completely clear, for some sap like me to try and do :p
