not that tough to do. There are things out there that record all the information off of your credit card or debit card and store it to usb or Micro SD cards. Then there is a way to rewrite this data to a blank card and then you can go to town. Look up "ATM Skimmers" on google. Gotta love the background in "cyber security and ethical hacking". (Also, your account information was probably sold to multiple people. Therefore the hits from multiple locations all at once.)
