how are their rules/guidelines for writing those? i see non-qual ones once in a while, all motorcycle articles, but i usually pass on them since i know nothing about motorcycles...

It's not horrible they give a really good sample and the guidelines are clear. It's technical so just pull up some info on the model they want.
