Default Difference between earnings and available balance

I currently show total earnings of $21.74 yet my available balance is
only $6.58. I'm still new to this, can someone explain why the huge
difference and what I might be doing wrong to have such a low balance?

    Hei

Nothing to worry about that. Amazon will transfer the money to the corresponding worker's account at specific timings. For you till now only $6.58 is transferred to your account. Hope The remaining will be done soon.

    ^ ryt...

In Mturk, balnce are of two types.

    1) Total earnings-----This shows the amount you've earned, till date.
    2) Available balance---This is the amount you can withdraw currently, or the amount that has been credited in your acc.

For you, 6.58$ is your available balance. Rest takes some time, to get credited into your acc. Please be patient.
Meanwhile, you can go to your "View your account balance and transaction history" section to view your transactions, and the credited amounts...Hope this helps...

*total earnings: Everything you made to date
*current balance: What you can withdraw
*There is sometimes a difference though because your payment has not been transferred into your account. "Approved, pending payment" I think its called - opposed to "Paid"
