For the holidays/teacher work days that happen after the last day of school, or before the first day of school, should they be included?

Quick question about "Snow Make-up Days" that are scheduled after the last grading period day and graduation day, are those included as school days? Meaning should I assign the "Last Day of School" on the last "Snow Make-up Days" or should I assign the "Last Day of School" for the end of the grading period day.

Another question if days are intertwined together, what should I assign then? For example, what if the last day of school was a partial day but also the last day of school?

Label it the last day of school and just leave a comment stating that it's also a partial day I assume?

Just want to be 100% sure on this one but "Faculty Workshop Days" =/= "Full off days" correct?

Second guessing myself because one day is labeled a "Faculty Workshop Day" and in the legend says that day could also be a make up day if they needs it to be. So I'm assuming no students will be at the school on the "Faculty Workshop Days" if they're using one of them as a possible make up day.

This is what it reads on the Guide that was emailed to us:

If at any point the calendar mentions "Bad Weather Days" or "Snow Days", count those as days off if they are within the school year (if they are after the last day of school, ignore them).

I advice that you keep the guide up until you remember all the rules. Because you can only have one value you should have that day as the last school day. If it's a half day due to mandatory testing, then select mandatory testing. But the last school day, needs to me the last school day just like the first school day needs to be the first school day.

Edit: I found the section in the guide:

Also if the first (or last) day of school is a half-*‐day, ignore it.

I am also guessing you'd mark those as full day off. That is what I've been doing.

Read the guide again! Maybe a few times! That's what I did and it helped me understand it a lot more. It's really simple, but we should make sure we're doing it right!

I did these last time too but just found something new....optional teacher workdays. Does that mean go if you feel like it?? Should I label it as a day off?

Yeah, I just came across one too, during spring break. This particular calendar had the total days for each month. The student days total was different for the teacher days. So it was optional for the teacher, not sure why they would work but it had nothing to do with the students' days/break so I marked it as Full Day Off.

I have found that if the calendar has the totals for school days per month and I'm not sure of something, I go through and count the days and it helps me figure out what the day in question should be marked as. But not every calendar has the tally for each month.

How's everyone doing on their calendars? I'm at 40 for the day, but I got late start.

Last time we got through 2,332 in one day. This time there are about 26,000 calendars so about 8 more days I guess.
