Hi, I used Mturk for a big project last Fall, but I have not used since then. I have thousands of articles to be transcribed from images to text. The main problem is that they are in Italian. Are there Italian speakers who would like to work on this? Or do you know how I can limit Italian-speaker to quality for this work? thanks for your help! Marco
Hey again Marco hope you've been well! I think the most you can do on MTurk is put "Location is Italy" as one of the HIT requirements. Shame I don't speak it as I'd love to do these new hits after working on the last ones. If there are any Italian speakers on here, I do suggest you get on this work as this is a really good and trustworthy requester.

Actually I am eagerly waiting for his projects, but unfortunately, I don't know Italian. I suggest that Italian speakers can definitely work on this project.

Apart from macro, I'd rather suggest seek the need at freelancing sources. It is the best and most reliable way to get the work done.
Glad to see you back Marco. Hope we also get some batches apart from Italian hits. I am sure you will get good workers from mturk platform, but i would suggest you to have a look on freelancing sites like elance, odesk for best workers in Italian.
Hi Marco Have you considered running a batch OCR on the images first? With OCR completed you could then have workers merely proofread the OCR. So more of an editing job. Please message back to discuss further! ~T
