It has been over a year since the start of the monthly TOTM contest, and the need for a few changes has become visible. We have decided to make a few small changes to the contest, which will be effective with the start of September's round and will apply to all previous winners. -An individual may only win Turker of the Month once within a 6 month period. This means that after winning, a user will be ineligible for 5 more voting cycles. Although repeat winners are not a bad thing, having the same group of people winning every few months can pose problems. This change will allow a variety of winners and prevent one person from dominating TOTM. -Since users can only win once in 6 months instead of the former 3 months, blue usernames will now last a full 6 months. This means that users will be recognized for their achievements, even if they are ineligible.
