I just found this thread. I have been away for around 10 months.

Before Nanaki joined the forum, many of us would take turns starting the thread. Some of us would have fun fighting who would be first to. I think it's a fun way for all of us to contribute to this site.

I heard that Nanaki also starts thread daily on another forum as well.

I don't know who he is to think that it's rude for anyone else to start a thread. We have to have his permission to start one?! Really?! No one owns this thread but Andy. I personally don't think it's for him to say. He barely participates on this forum. I only see him start threads and rarely to be seen again until the next thread.

On top of it all, as much as I like mangas/animes since I am a seller of them on eBay/Amazon, I don't think turking as anything to do with mangas/anime. (and yes I have read the cute series of Yotsuba) In the past, the thread starters would post pictures of money, and funny animated gifs to motivate us. But that is just my opinion.

So in all, yes I agree with Shootz that we all should be able to start threads if we want to and not have to 'consult' Nanaki.

Just for the record i'm not in support of an official centralized thread maker. That said I have no issues with the same user creating the new thread every day if it should happen that way.

If there are 2 threads created, the people will naturally hoover to one or the other.
