I'm guessing I Turk about 3 hrs a day, but it's hard to say. I flip over to mTurk periodically during the day, between emails, grading papers, housework, etc.

I generally work 1 hour on Mturk. If there's a series of HITs I can make it through efficiently and with a decent pay, I have spent up to 3-4 hours working on HITs.

Currently, a set of favorite HITs just ended. I made over $200 this month and that's a record for me.

Since I'm a housewife I spend around 4-5 hrs a day and make $20-30 daily.

I'm currently unemployed, so like many others I have a routine I try to follow. Look for job openings, apply for those, then start Turking typically. I usually turk between 4-12 hours a day, typically closer to 4 or 5 thought. I'm kinda an insomniac so sometimes I'll stay up super late Turking, hence a few 12 hr "days".

mturk is not a cheat by us president

mturk is not a cheating company, it is not a begging site, it is for poor people who can afford to do jobs as costly as 0.01 dollars, which is less than the begging rate in US.

Personally I spend about as much time as I can turking. I think it's better measured as a dollar amount vs actual time as I am a student who constantly is on the move. So around like 20-30 dollars a day.
Samantha - Some people don't like to give out their favorite hits and it can get a bit competitive. I would recommend ContentGalore or other similar summery writing. But be warned, rejections are common. I usually expect 1/10 to get rejected. Put time into your hits and be proud of them before submitting. Follow the rules to the T.
