Hi everyone. I just joined Mturk few days ago. I have been reading a lot of posts here to learn about Mturk. I did 2 hits today so far(took long time to find good hits and to process though.) This site is very helpful I just wanted to say thank everyone to share good info.

Welcome chase! Sometimes it takes a long time to find HITs worth doing, but as people told me when I first started, slow and steady wins the race. Just rack up as many good requesters as you can in your memory bank, and HIT them every time they post HITs. Good luck and happy turking!
The best advice I can give you is to find Hits that you are interested in, just make sure that they are a fair requester, if not an awesome requester. The last thing you want is to find yourself bored with a Hit that someone else thinks is great. After a few months you'll get the feel of what work you like. Oh and welcome to the mturk forum. If you haven't downloaded Turkopticon, you really should. It's nice to have a tool that grades the requesters.
