Down again on Monday as of 1 p.m. EST. Numerous other workers on MTC report outages during this same period. Please post below if you are also having sustained outage problems today.

Outages were inconsistent starting about 1:30 pm. Queue working was able to continue til about 2 pm but then everything was unresponsive. Checked again about 5:30 pm and things were working.

Went down about 9:43 am today. Scraper began having issues with HITs not showing up. Turk and queue work followed about 5 minutes later.

UPDATE: Things were restored at 10:30. Scraper continues to work/not work however Turk and queue work is functioning properly.

Back down about 1:00pm. Not operational all around

Down for me from 1 p.m. EST like clockwork. It's going in and out though. As in every 20 minutes, scraper will work for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then crap out again.

I have been trying to grab whatever HITs I can when Scraper connects, then work like mad from the queue and whatever gets done, gets done. I am beyond tired of this

Began nice and early for me today. 9:00am.

Back up about 10, then have been fighting up and down issues all morning. Pretty much given up on Scraper at this point.

Fuck this shit. Down again at 12:30 EST.

I really wish someone would spread this shit out across workers. So pissed it's always the same people who have to deal with it.

The thing about it that drives me even crazier is the fact there is literally no response to our plight. I feel like they are just tell us to shut up an color. Maybe we should figure out how much those of us who are affected typically Turk in a week...then say ok, well when your system craps out for 4 hours a day that means we loose x amount. Of course I know they don't care but man it would feel good.

I am at least getting personalized responses to my emails. I also have been using a terser tone now in the emails because I frankly don't care at this point. My account is basically worthless so I see no reason to be nice about this. I'm also linking them to NUMEROUS threads on this and other forum where people are basically shitting on the image of Turk. Probably they don't care, but if it does eventually get escalated, I want them to see how their lack of action is making people speak disparagingly about Turk and Amazon. At the very least, if I can ruffle a few feathers, it's worth my time. Especially since I can't Turk anyway LOL.

Out of curiosity how many people do you think you know are affected by this? I'd say 6-7 here...other places?

About 8 who posted on MTC. Give or take.

If there are 15 posters who mention it, there are clearly a lot more people who have the problem. Just look at the stats at the bottom of the forum page that shows how many people view the thread vs. how many you actually see post on the forum. I've also gotten PM's from people who do not feel comfortable posting, so the numbers are even higher than they may seem.

I've been down for 4 hours today. This has been the norm for every single weekday for the past 2 weeks.

Have you guys been linking to this and other forum threads where the problem is discussed? I've been doing that because hopefully they care when people speak negatively about their platform. I've been getting personalized emails with specific references to my prior messages so I know they are reading them.

Got this email response from Turk and which is slightly different than what Pigeon posted previously. Of note is that mine is being sent to the Investigations team. Not sure if thats better/worse than developers?

    -----------------

This is Adele from Mechanical Turk and I'm truly sorry about the concern this has caused.

    Thanks for contacting us back.

I have reviewed our previous correspondence and see my colleague has escalated your case to our investigations team. Please understand that the case is still open and our team is working on a resolution.

Once again, I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience this is causing and thank you for your patience.
