If he was suspended, he did something wrong. Yes, it does matter if they create an account in another person's name. There are rules against that, and as much as I hate rules, I hate screwing everyone else over for my own selfish reasons even more. That being said, anyone that is self-centered enough to make a new account in someone elses name deserves anything Karma brings their way. Those are the people that make potentially awesome new requesters run for the hills. They either weren't following directions or trying to scam someone. Either way, Turking is not the job for them so leave it for the rest of us who work our asses off and take this seriously. If you want to get paid for doing nothing, go be a hooker. Oh, and Amazon doesn't block by IP. They should, and make exceptions if another member of the household decides to try Turking. They should also make that family member prove 100% that they are the one working. I know that's not feasible, but right now it's far too easy for those who think they deserve the moon for clicking random answers to create numerous accounts when they get banned.

I am an Indian worker. My approval rate is 96.3%. I am a turker since November, 2010. The site is perfect for the retired person like me. I pass my time by turking and earn a moderate amount. I enjoy the several of tasks and learn a lot about internet related services. However, I am not getting payment from April, 2012.I have requested for 3 payments since April, 2012. Whenever I inquired about the status, they informed me that they were sorry for it. They had fresh check against the request number. In the meantime, they advised me to modify the address about three months ago and I modified it. They verified successfully the scanned document of my ID. They again informed me that they sent a fresh check at modified address. I have not got that check also. Have they temporarily blocked my account? Will not they inform me about blocking? Can you help me to resolve the matter?
You'll get a message when trying to do HITs or request money stating your account is suspended if it has been. No one here works for Amazon. There have been a few Indian workers not receiving their checks, others have consistently been receiving them. It may be with the postal service, not a case of Amazon not just sending you your check.
