    Riddeck,

Have you done the qualification hits amazon puts up? - I am thinking that is part of the puzzle.

I don't think so. What are the HITs titled?

I believe it's - Amazon Requester Inc They have some up now and again that are available and not closed- Some are for no money but if they get you qualified for that coveted Masters- I am doing a bunch! :)

The Amazon Requester Inc name is basically the umbrella name for different groups working at Amazon. Meaning, just because you're working a Amazon Requester HIT doesn't mean you're working for the same person who posted a batch 10 minutes ago. They have different departments - Amazon Requester - browse classification, Amazon Requester - product identification, etc, and just plain Amazon Requester. Some have closed quals and others post qualifying batches on Tuesdays. Yes, many people with Cat Masters claim to have done a large chunk of Amazon Requester HITs prior to getting the masters qual, but other people have done them with no reward except higher qualifying scores from Amazon. I hope that makes sense, it probably doesn't but if you search for Amazon Requester at different times throughout the day you might see what I'm talking about.

I looked up their HITs posted right now and in the description it says: If you don't have enough qualification score, please check out our qualification HITs (with title "Qulification tests for "Categorize these products from Amazon.com"", and will be released every Tuesday (PST)) to build your own record.

I can't believe I never noticed these HITs before. I'll definitely be on the lookout next Tuesday. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the details Scott. I really appreciate your help. Once again I am surprised how much this forum and it's members help me. Even after using Mturk for such a long time I still learn new things here every day.

Those are the qualification hits to be able to do the Amazon Requester Inc - browse classification hits. They have many more of those same types of hits that are broken up into different categories and after you hit ClassificationAccuracy is not less than 85 you will be able to do them. But they are not master hits just fyi and you do not get the master qual after raising your score. Again, if you did.... I would have it. Sorry to disappoint.

Thanks for the response. When you say they are not Master HITs do you mean they don't contribute to the Master qualification? I was a bit confused by your post.
