All you have to do is give PC it's own window and don't minimize it. Then bring the window you are working from to the front.
Nope! It's in it's own window. Every time it doesn't have central focus it complains, but it isn't minimized. Mine just updated this morning, so perhaps this latest version is broken or something.
I run it in its own window and manual update so I haven't seen the latest. can you open options alarm and mute that one?
