Is there anyone out there who makes $800.00 to $1,000.00 a month? If so I was just curious as to how much time it takes and what kind of hits you are doing? Thanks!
If you obtain a master's qualification it's probable otherwise it may possible if turk 8- 10 hours day 7 days a week. I turk 6 - 8 hours day and make over $600 per month/$20 - $30 a day. However I usually start later than I should (after 2pm EST/11 am PST). The best time to find HITs are between 7 am - 5 pm EST. If I turked earlier I know probably could make at least $800 monthly. Mostly I complete surveys and a few batch HITs if I can find them.
I can tell you from my stand point all of my bills are paid for through turking. Rent, Utilities, Food, etc. A thousand is a month is easily do-able because for the past year and a half I've never missed a bill. Now I'm schooling and also trying to put a little money each day away for savings towards a business and it's honestly much more difficult. As for what kind of hits to do, batches pay bills, surveys give play money. But in all honest no-one here can tell you what hits to do. The only way your going to be successful, is finding a strategy that works for you and tweaking it and improving it, over time you'll see what I mean. I've found it easy to know how much you have/want to make each month. Divide that amount by the amount of days in the month and push each and every day until you reach your daily limit. Anything extra is extra. But if you fail to reach your daily budget that you need, it's very hard to play catch up. Because Mturk goes through its spells. Sometimes there's plenty of work up, other times things are much slower. Find out what you have to make each day and sit down and do it each and everyday until you hit that limit. Don't ever fall behind on your daily limits that you have to reach. Over time you'll develop more style and find what works best for you. I'm a batch worker, but there are times when you'll get frustrated and tired down from working long hours and you'll need to switch your style for a few days to avoid losing motivation. Hope that helps and go for it, it definitely can be done. Don't fall into the Masters Trap, because that will frustrate you overtime. I would forget all about it, work hard, and it will come when it's meant to come. Once you get it, life will be much, much easier for you.
Wow! I'm just excited about my $160.00 in a month and a half! I can't imagine bringing in that much! I'm gonna work on it though.
I'm at $850 for the month so far. But I have Masters. Pretty simple, you want to make money, don't be scared, don't waste time searching for high-paying HITs (if you can't find them in 5 minutes, there aren't any), put in the time. $1000/month is $33/day, $38/day if you want $1000 after taxes. I had a $70 day without Masters, otherwise I had many $30-40 days. $40/day is pretty doable, put in the work.
I think it would be very difficult to hit $500 a month. I can not see $1000 a month because there are not enough surveys, even if you did all the quick 50 cent and $1 dollar surveys. Maybe if you had Masters which I do not have. For me to make more than $10 a day I have to work all day and that would be $300 a month working 7 days a week and 8 hours a day. mTurk should pay more so it is equal to minimum wage.
You can't be serious. $500 a month is only $16 a day, I don't have masters and I don't even have to try to hit that. And surveys alone aren't going to get you to your goal consistently. They're the lowest hanging fruit because they're so easy anyone can do them will little effort. Put in the time, be adventurous and you'll make mad bank.
You're turking wrong if you can't do at least $4/hour Monday-Friday during survey season (9am-6PM EST). No Masters needed. If you're putting in 8 hour days you'll hit over $1000/month without Masters. It doesn't matter if you request Masters or not. I won't further speak on it because apparently it's bragging.
Back when I started ( I haven't done Mturk in a while) I made between 60 and 80 dollars a day, working for David Machett ( at night) and MedCrowd ( in the morning). I do not know if they still post but if they do it is something to look into.
Find HITs you can do easily and don't be distracted by the payout. If you are great at data entry and can do a lot in a little time then take all those HITs you can. I average about $125 to $175 a week which is more than what I was making at my old job (I made $300 a month). I can see where people living in the USA would want more per HIT but people like me will gladly take a 10 cent hit as average hourly wage here is about $2.25 USD.
i'm starting my third week, and was able to clear my hundred a week goal so far pretty easily, (or will once the 80 pending from the weekend clear.) i don't feel like i'm working hugely hard. I usually knock out 5-10 bucks in surveys over the course of the day, then spend maybe two hours knocking off batch work for another 5-10. 10-15 dollar days are pretty easy, i just hit the greatest hits thread and knock off two or three surveys every time i sit down at the computer.
If any one here has an ATI GPU, and a desktop, you can do litecoin mining, its actually kind of profitable if you live in a place which provides free electricity. Im sitting on a laptop with a 7690m GPU and I make about 50$ a month just by turning a miner on overnight, I bet a good desktop 7900 ATI can pull in well over 100 per month just by turning it on overnight. Also, I hear the new R9X GPU's pull quite a bit. Just putting it out there.
