I aim for $10/day. In a week that's $70...x 4 weeks that would make $280 in a month. Think I can do it!?
My only goal is to complete at least 30 hits in a day. Most don't pay much, but, it's just a way to keep myself speedy. I did get lucky with some hits in December, pulled a couple of all-nighters and earned a total of about $500. THAT was a total freakish event, though. Normally it's $2-3 a day max when I can get to it, and I obviously can't get to it every day. My whole previous six months didn't even total that (oh, one thing to keep in mind, I wasn't working in December, I was home on maternity leave and just turking whenever my infant was napping or playing with Daddy).
lol... yep, I bought this semester's books and almost all Christmas presents straight through amazon, so it saved me gas $ and fighting the crowds. That was a GREAT month!!! I go back to work on Tuesday, though, so I'll be back to really only Turking probably on the weekends, so I'll be available to a lot fewer of the good HITs. Oh well.
Setting goals would be a lot easier if some of the suggestions that other members of this forum mentioned were implemented -- such as being able to blacklist or whitelist requesters. I spend way too much time going through pages of hits that don't interest me, time which could be better spent working on hits. I actually have a monthly goal -- $100 a month. I've met it this month, but only because I've been staying up way too late.
On average I manage to earn about $4 a day which I am quite content with since I do not spend a lot of time turking. What I find very helpful, which I am sure many do, is to display the hits as the newest created first and refresh quite often. Also maybe an advantage I have is that I am European and so my morning hrs are night hrs for others.
I have a big one. my goal might be set way to high but i'd like to reach a grand ($1000) in a month its sounds like a lot but i feel you should aim high. I figure once my avg is high enough i will have alt more hits on to me and then i can really pick and chose high paying jobs.
I usually like to set goals out of how many I do and do none that is lower than 50 cents. I like to do around 2-4 a day. It's just a little hobby for me!
My goal is to make $180-$200 depending on what kind of deals there are on HD monitors on Amazon. mTurk is the perfect way to make money for extra things and not have to budget for them. I'm going to use the money for computer upgrades and gadgets, sweet. I have a daily goal of about $5 but i rarely reach it since i don't spend much time mTurking. As i get closer to long term goal, i'll probably do more HITS per day.
I did not really set a goal when I first started, but I would like to get somewhere above $200. I am currently up to $122, so I don't have that much longer, but I hope to continue doing this for a while and just watching that number rise.
when there are lot of hits which i can do pretty well , then i set a goal for a day , that how much i have to work
I've not started setting goals yet, because I am so new. I might try a goal in the future. It seems like the site stays pretty busy with hits to grab.
i set a target of about 20$ daily and so far i have been able to earn about 14-16$ daily. But I'm trying my best to achieve my target.
