I've got to wonder if it's a problem with the form site, as opposed to the parameters for the individual HITs. We may just have to wait until the issue with the site is resolved.
I have also encountered the same problem, but it happened only twice while submitting the form. Edit: Currently the form submitting site is not even opening.
If the company website redirects to a different site, that usually means the company has been acquired. In that case, go ahead and proceed as normal with checkboxes and address info. We are NOT interested in software resellers. We're looking for companies that develop and sell their own software. If you come across a company that has Microsoft or Oracle logos all over it, or in general talks about identifying the right technology from its technology partners, then it's probably a reseller. I'm not sure I understand your last question, but we're interested in all software providers, including cloud software providers.
Back Up As you all know, we were down this morning due to an error on our side. We've since fixed this issue and are back up and running. Please let us know if you encounter any further issues. Thanks for your patience!!
I found 2 employees of a company at Linkedin and submitted the info but I am not getting the unique ID. All I am getting is "Record Submitted". Need your help in submitting this HIT.
Question about the contact information hits - if all the company has is one executive - example Red Method has owner, founder, Creative Executive and its all the same guy - I could not find any other management listed - I googled, tried Linkedin, etc so it wasn't for lack of trying - do you want us to just list that person and mention that is the only member of the management team? I ended up returning the hit because I didn't want to chance being rejected since I couldn't give you at least one other name. Also, if the company ie Inspired Bridge is actually just an off shoot of a larger company, do you want the parent company's information? I went ahead and gave it to you with Inspired Bridge and in the notes I put that the info was for their parent company. Also a couple of the companies I went looking for tonite were dead ends, I was getting information like "dead site" or "company no longer in business" but there was no where to report that to you so I ended up returning those hits. In the future how do you want those handled?
re: questions So in general do your best. If you spend 5 minutes looking (shouldn't be that frequenty) and you can't find any in google/bing/crunchbase/linkedin/etc - put in no-name and move on. As long as the majority of your responses aren't this, and it passes a spot check, I'll approve them. I get that some are harder then others. As much of the management team as possible. I'm trying to sell to CTO/CEO/COO/VP Strategy/VP Biz Dev/etc.. I'm ok with senior people on the dev /product side lke product management and /or director of engineering. if website is broken, just write that in first name WEBSITE BROKEN
Thank you. I sent you a couple of messages thru Mturk's system as well, but I feel better. Some of these I have returned. I will do better now and not return the ones I can't find anything on.
Need help testing a job to figure out how to structure a turk job Ideally 3-4 people. Will pay for consultation time, but will need to have a phone conversation to do some training. Minimum of 3-4 hours of your time, maybe much more. Pls email me through turk IF: 1. You have done 100+ of my prior HITS 2. You speak and read/write fluent english 3. You have some basic business sense - ideally some technical skills 4. Any language/country ok. I guess I'll "bonus" you through turk - probably easiest thing to do. Will pay $10/hr for this initial run with about a 3-5 hr commitment. My apologies if I get too many emails and don't respond. I 'll respond to the first five people. Steve
I do meet the other requirements, I sent you a private message through here with my private email address.
