Requesters, like us slave laborers need to succumb to a filter system. We (as workers of the system) should have a right to submit to question those requesters that are abusing our system. They need to be held accountable for misrepresentation. We should be allowed to question rejections and have them cleared if enough of us (especially) agree.

Great suggestion. So you are suggesting that you can appeal a rejection and it gets sent to a third party?

The only downfall is that the appeal process may be abused by the workers, which would result in less work being posted on mturk, which would result in less profits for amazon.

We should have the exacts same advantages that they have, can you imagine the behavior change we would witness if the workers could implement their own 'three strikes & you are out policy' on the requesters? Also, some obviously more practical great suggestion Laura.

It all comes down to Amazon actually making money.

If you can boot out a requester with 3 complaints, then there will be no requesters left.

Therefore, no revenue for Amazon. Therefore, no mturk.

I don't agree. What we would be left with are legit requesters and a system that requesters and workers can be confident and trusting with thereby improving requests and work to another level (than just dog eat dog)

If you notice, some requesters are grand in their testing and filtering system for their workers. Amazon MTurk should put into place a system for filtering requesters as well. I'm all for globalization, but not at the expense for the creation of slave labor. Intelligent people should be rewarded and scammers should be banned. Amazon should NOT support EXPLOITATION of people.
