Can I use my mTurk earnings or do you expect real money?

That would be awesome and I would love to help, but I don't have paypal! :(

Is there any way you could also accept payment through our Amazon Payments Account?

I not sure I understand. Maybe you could explain it to me? In this post you said you are hosting a forum with a million posts on this same server..... http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?2878-Turker-Nation&p=20540&viewfull=1#post20540

So we are going to be paying for your other forum?
You are going to ignore requests for moderation to remove scammers ?
You are going to prevent people like stlrfn from stealing our members to *********** ?

I guess I do not understand why you need our hard earned money when you were paying us just two months ago.

Sounds like a pretty dick move to me.

If you read the first post, it clearly states that the payment is voluntary and was at the request of one of members. If don't want to contribute fine, move on and keep your rude comments to yourself. Andy is an OK kind of guy unlike the impression I get of you.

    Hmmm...your first post!

Have you requested that Andy provide moderation to remove scammers?
What concern is it of yours what stlrfn does?

And...last but not least....NEVERMIND...I edited it...I'm better than that! :)

Im not trying to be pessimistic, but I believe there should be more of a reward for donations. Maybe access to Signatures, or something along those lines. I am definitely considering donating, regardless of the benefits, but feel that there should be more behind this. Maybe a special forum for donators?

Ooh, I definitely like the idea of a special forum for donators!!!

You guys need to understand that this was NOT Andy's idea. Andy invests lot's of time on the site, is very communicative and is a great guy. The donations are there for those of us who appreciate his work on here, and are grateful that he has set up this wonderful resource for us.

Not trying to instigate anything, but you have been a member since June and this is only your second post. Maybe you could try to help others out before you complain about someone setting up an optional page to support the FREE service they run.

It flies against everything that Andy has been saying about private forums, but I do hope he clarifies this himself. If donations is just a backdoor way to start hiding forums, I will be hella disappointed.

I see your point, I generally think of private forums as more like blocking necessary forums from non-members. It was just a thought anyways.

Thank you everyone for your feedback regarding this, even those TNers ;) sometimes I act too quickly without consulting you all. After further thought I have decided to abandon the supporter membership. Moving forward, there will continue to be no method for any type of donation.
