Tomorrow Monday will be a week since I did a lot of tasks for a requester. Since that was my first day mturking, I wanted to ask what do you think, is it normal waiting this long for my hits being approved by the requester? Thanks for your input on this!
Very normal. Some requesters approve same day, and some wait so long auto-approval occurs. So you never know what to expect after doing HITs for requester you have no previous knowledge of, unless you go by something said in this forum or on Turkopticon. Most of the HITs I do get approved in 3 days. Some more take a week, and others you can guarantee two weeks or more. Auto-approval's limit is 30 days, and there's always a handful that take that long. So it's best to test out a requester, or know of them, before going all in on their hundreds of HITs.
