I was just doing some of the Redwood, checking on a transcribed segment when I noticed the following text on about one third of them... "How to earn money on mturk - hit submission tutorial. ... please give details about withdrawing the money ..." It didn't match the audio at all. I thought it was odd, anyone else see this.
Hmm, sounds odd. I have done a couple hundred of the transcriptions today and they sounded good. Sounds like someone is doing a cut and paste. Most of mine today were cake decorating and quilting courses.

Want to know what sucks on them... when some dummy cuts and pastes like 500 words of random garbage... and none of it is even close to what it should be. It'll take you 20 mins just to highlight all the bad text because you hafta click each word to get it to highlight. I figure it was some turker doing this and laughing his ass off. I have seen this done about 5 times or so out of the few thousand of them hits I have done. Wish redwood would reject and HARD ban when somebody does this as it is done intentionally to give the reviewer a hard time.
Definitely. Some of the sports ones are really tough. They talk so fast and sometimes on top of each other. the cake decorating lady spoke nice and slowly
I have run into about 5 off these, and I have fone maybe 100. Its making me mad. Messes with my whole routine flow.
Hopefully Redwood slaps them with a ban soon, its 4 out of every 5 now. I want to be able to to work the batch, but it may have to wait a few days.
