Anyone seen any more of these HITS of Bogdan Arsenie wanting, "Generate baseball trivia questions with multiple choice answers"?

I caught a grand total of one of them in the wee hours of Friday night/Saturday morning.

Honestly, I think I could spend the rest of my life generating baseball trivia questions for 20c a HIT and do it with a big :D on my face as well! No "Baseball Digest", or Google needed.

Hell, I have been doing the same thing at the local gin-mill for years for free

I worked on 3 HITs by this Requester, but not the one you've mentioned. I worked on the following ones:

Generate Movie trivia questions with multiple choice answers
    $0.25 Paid

Generate Movie trivia questions with multiple choice answers
    $0.10 Paid

Generate celebrity trivia questions with multiple choice answers
    $0.15 Paid

Me too will like to work on more of such HITs if they're related to movies.

Well I see that those HITS are still up , but the requester only allows one answer/HIT. That means I am a leper, I guess.

All that policy does is drive knowledgeable workers away from these HITs and into the arms of those who don't know diddly-squat about the subject.

The "questions" that this dude is going to be getting are all (OK half) gonna be...."Did A-Rod take steroids?" Tons of them.

Meanwhile...those of us that are knowledgeable about a topic, be it movies or baseball...get the big zero.

You like movies ( I ain't been to a cinema in 20 years) and myself ( I don't think you have ever seen baseball in India), we are pawns...we could do great work...if they let us!

There are more HITS available if you can generate questions on geography, biology and literature.

Are you sure it's a policy? I mean, is it stated in the HIT itself? It's an easy enough mistake to set up a HIT to run the opposite of how it was intended, and the requester may not realize something's wrong until someone writes to tell them. I've spoken to a few confuzzled requesters in my day and they were always grateful for the feedback.

Always keep in mind that old saying, "Never attribute to policy that which can be adequately explained by a misunderstanding of Mechanical Turk's HIT posting system." :)

*** I think what they meant was that it might be the REQUESTER's policy, not an Amazon policy. Or, as you indicated, it just might be a big error on his/her part.

A wise old seer once told me that the key to life and happiness is to occasionally check for goodies in ones mTurk Forum PM inbox.:D

Good stuff sometimes resides there ;)

    'nuf ced.

BTW, has anyone noticed that there's a new user on our forum with the username "Bogdan". I'm wondering whether it's the Requester himself or some fan of that Requester. Any ideas anyone???

    It is me :)

I actually don't mind people submitting more than one question per HIT. I have found a way to do that, without creating the HITs programatically, and I have not invested the time in doing that.
If anybody could clarify that, that would be great!

PS- thanks for submitting to my HITs, I appreciate it.

    hello all :)

I have nothing against multiple submissions from one person. I don't know how to setup an HIT like that, other than programatically as individual HITs, which is a pain.
