I have worked on a couple of hits which require you to write 1000 words or more and which pay $5. Dont you think that it is prudent to work on two hits which pay $4, write 700-900 words and take home $8. Presently there are many hits loaded on mturk which pay $5 for 1000 words. Do you think paying $5 is justified, when requestors ask you to submit articles above 1000 words?
Whoever is writing 1000 word articles for $5 is getting ripped off. I'm a member of a popular webmaster forum, and most (99%) people do article writing for around $.01/word. For 1000 words, people should be asking for at least $8.
