Ever do one of mtlabel's 'label images' HITs? They are really easy and I was paid for two HITs today just an hour or so after completing them.
Is this where you drag the box around the image and click submit?.. Or is this the one where it asks you to identify certain objects?
I do those as a last resort. They are difficult for me because the pics aren't large enough for me to see well. Also, when I noticed that I was making a penny or less per minute, it didn't feel worth it. I usually do the hits that can make me at least 3 to 7 dollars an hour, or more. I have trouble with things that are too tedious. I get bored really fast and lose interest. ADHD perhaps?
I agree. This hit requires you to spend lot of time on it. You can magnify the picture by going to the said picture but it is lot of work for a measly .05 cents, better to do other hits which pay less, but take less time to complete.
I know the pics enlarge when you move the cursor over them, but it still doesn't help. I suppose I may need glasses. Doesn't matter anyway. The requestor is really nice (always leaves positive feedback); but like we agree, it's just not worth it in the long run. If they paid 0.15 for the 6 page hits and 0.30 for the 10 page hits, I might be more inclined.
Has anyone else had a problem with this HIT not working. IE broken link? Every time I try to do it, it says Link broken... blah blah.
I've had good luck with mtlabel. He's quick to pay and leaves good comments. I don't do them all of the time, because the rate isn't that good for the work involved. The HITs tend to have odd objects, so I skip them until I find ones I can recognize. One thing to watch out is that the description of the term isn't always all inclusive. I did one once where I took the description all inclusively, but what was expected was more general to the term. That HIT was rejected but was the only one from him that was.
Every mtlabel HIT I looked at looked like you had to really know what a certain plant or bug looks like. 6 pages of 50 or so pictures for $0.06, I think not.
I have tried this hit but did not face any problem. But I must say I have just tried them couple of times, and found that I don't have the patience to go through pages of pictures which take a long time to load. In fact, I find it productive to write comments or give feedback and earn a quick $.10 rather than attempting this hit.
