I started working a week past Saturday, so this is my 10th full day. I just got paid $13.28. I'm very happy about this. (There's about 3 times that due still, too).

I think that first deposit was a "wow" moment for me, realizing that yes this was for real and not a scam, lol..I have actually learned to like the fact that there always seems to be money owed to me on Mturk. I know as long as I work at least a little each day, it will keep adding up. Although I do get nervous when I have a $10 HIT sitting out there for awhile on pending status.
I waited a while before withdrawing my first payout last week, almost $100. Yesterday's high point was the 1000 approved HITs milestone ... with only 1 rejection thus far. On the downside, there are many HITs that I refuse to do (for various reasons), and I become more discriminating as I go along, so my choices are limited. Fortunately there are some types of frequently available HITs that I do enjoy. Although they are often available, they do sometimes run dry. I wish there were even more of them, so that they I would never have to wait for them to appear.
I've got just over $40 out in total now. I am in Europe so I can't get the cash but I'm going to save it up for a Christmas fund Hapless, I am having the same issue, I am picky about what work I do now. Also, if it looks too much work for too little reward I tend not to bother. I might do some of those if I am trying to recover from a rejection, but only if there's nothing else. Since most of the transcribing work is being posted in the States I am in bed when all the juicy stuff gets released! I might have to start getting up at 5am to catch some of those
