Yea iv seen that. Im getting really pissed off at this too. Now my disbursable has gone from 35 back down to 1.30 out of nowhere... I dont get it. I dont owe anybody a damn thing. Im the one working sooo... yea. They need to realize that theres a difference between people working, and people selling crap on their business account. I have no disputes or anything. Their contact forms are as retarded as you can get. You email them, then days later they write you from an address that you cant reply back to, not answering any questions in the process. Tomorrow is supposed to be the day that im able to withdraw but obviously i cant if my disbursable is only 1 dollar out of the 60 I have earned. I dont know..guess ill see.

RonPaul, How is it going with your balance? Has the balance gone up? I've watched mine go down and up slightly then back down, mainly staying under $1.00 the whole time. 3 weeks here, I finally got up to $21. The past day or two, the balance has been going up slowly to $6.20. Still waiting and hoping.

I got fed up and finally sent an email to Amazon asking to explain the 2 different balances that business account holders have. This is a good info for anyone who has a business account with Amazon Payments. Here's what they said:

As a new BUSINESS ACCOUNT, *****you are required to maintain a reserve
amount*****. The reserve amount is the sum of all unresolved transaction
disputes (i.e. chargebacks and claims) and the trailing 14 days of sales
    activity.

This reserve policy will be applicable to you for the first ****180 days****.

If your business has been actively selling for more than 6 months (not
necessarily with Amazon) and has a good credit history, we may consider
upgrading your account to Tier II before your 6 months of history with Amazon
Payments has been reached. If you fall in this category please send us a request
for upgrade to Tier II, by responding to this email.

The Tier II Reserve amount will be calculated on the basis of dispute /
    chargeback filed against your account.

You can find more information about the Amazon Payments Reserve policy at:

    https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/about?nodeId=6016

we also advise that you create a different account
under a different email address if you wish to create a personal account as YOU
MAY NOT change the account type from Business to personal.**********

So...I am hoping after 6 months I am able to take ALL of my balance out. What a long ways to go. Sigh...I've only started MTurking a month ago. Had I known of this, I would have created another account for this but I'm not going to now that I've accumulated my hits after a month. I'll just wait it out I guess.

Update! My account balance of around $40ish was always stuck in the account balance and never was going into my disburse-able balance (funds you can withdraw). I emailed/called numerous times about this and they didn't know why this was happening so they wanted to suspend my business account and have me open a personal account. I told them NO! Do not suspend my account because according to their rules, once suspended, you aren't allowed to open a new account. She said, "that's right". So today they closed my business account today. With their permission, I went ahead and opened a personal account today. Problem solved right? Well sort of. The problem I have right now is: I had some funds in the account balance AND some funds in disburse-able balance. They took away my disburse-able balance leaving me with my account balance funds to withdraw. I said but where is my disburse-able balance funds that I had in there which was about $18 dollars. The woman on the phone had no clue what I was talking about!!! LUCKILY I took screen shot of that right before they changed it on me. So that case is ongoing right now as to where is my $18 dollars that they took from me...

And because I had to start over again with a personal account, my Mturk account stays the same, unchanged BUT the pending payments I had in there is lost because my business account was closed. Luckily it was only few dollars but still...it hurts.

Anyone who has a business account that they don't use, have them CLOSE it and then you can get a personal account and you can always upgrade to a business account later on if you want but cannot go back to personal account once you are in a business account.

The difference between business and personal account is that with a business account, you have 2 funds: Disburse-able balance and Account Balance. Apparently with a business account, funds go into the Account Balance first (unable to withdraw) then after awhile it should move down to disburse-able balance which allows you to withdraw. In my case my funds were stuck in account balance, not transferring into Disburse-able account which would allow me to withdraw my funds. This caused this whole problem. I'm not sure if this happens to all the business account holders or just me.

Just wanted to make some people aware of this.
