Finding Great HITs 08/29 Terrific Thursday

Hilarious to me. Sometimes ya just need to be patient.
Accepted this & saw it was returned once saying "survey not active".
I checked it out and yep, broken. Did another survey & left it in the Q.
Just checked it again & now the survey works & 8 others have returned it as broken.

If the timer is long enough & its broken just give it a few minutes then try again.
I've had this happen several times the last few weeks.

Hello, everybody! I'm new to this forum, and new to Mturk as well. (I had never heard of it until a few weeks ago.) Anyway, I've been doing the receipt transcription, and all of a sudden, I'm not eligible to do them any more. That's a bummer to me, because I think those are kind of fun even though they don't pay all that well.

I have about 1,300 HITs, so what gives?

 

In the meantime, I discovered the problem. I'm at about 1,300 HITs, and they're currently requiring 2,000 to do that.

 

Yeah you have to do penny hits for a while. I was lucky enough to start doing mturk when it was mostly processing google street view address pictures back in like 04/05. Then I didn't do it much at all until I started back up a few years back with like 2k already approved hits under my belt.
