I just wanted to know how often everyone was withdrawing there fund's? example: Weekly Bi-Weekly (every 2 weeks) Monthly Yearly or are you just saving for a certain amount?
Word to the wise, if you have money in your account, it's best to move it on a daily basis because Amazon is known to suspend accounts and if yours gets suspended and has money in it, you won't be able to withdraw it unless you fight the suspension and win, which involves a TON of hoop jumping. PLEASE, PLEASE, don't try to use it as a savings account because it can come back and bite you.
I'll add that I've been on Mturk since 08 and I've seen many, many, many people lose their accounts and every single penny in it, so it's just best to not save any money in there.
Ugh, well this makes me nervous. I've got 140 dollars in my Mturk account and waiting for my bank account to be verified. Hopefully nothing happens in the meantime! -.-
They've suspended for mysterious TOS violations with no blocks at all, so blocks really don't come into play. I wouldn't play around with leaving my money in Amazon just in case
Well, I'm just in the process of getting a bank account (that's verfiied) on my Mturk account, which takes 5-7 days. I've only been Turking for 11 days now, so I wasn't really sure of when to withdraw or not. Didn't really figure Amazon would be the type to suspend accounts, but oh well, I'm sure nothing will happen.
I've never tied a bank account - I just move it over to a gift card balance. I know that's not an acceptable solution for some but it works for me.
I've never had any reason to worry about leaving my balance in there, but I live on this money so I usually transfer at least once a day. Sometimes I'll leave part of a paid balance in there overnight, but then I'll transfer it in the morning.
I've been transferring weekly but I think I will change that now. I'm surprised they don't gripe about daily transfers. And now I hope they don't freak out because I'm changing from weekly to more often. Ugh.
I can't see them saying anything about that. I transfer multiple times a day sometimes and they've never said anything.
Thanks! I had thought about doing the Amazon gc's but it's nice having the money where I can use it for gas and groceries too.
I haven't moved any of mine yet. How do you know if you've been blocked? Are you told? Doesn't it cost to move your money?
If its a hard block amazon will email you letting you know. No if your in the us it costs 0.00$ to move your monie to your bank account.. Min ammount is 10$ to bank and 1$ to Gift cards.
