After completing around 900 categorization HITs a couple days ago, all of which were approved today, I received an email saying that my Masters qualification has been revoked. This struck me as a huge surprise! I got two emails and neither gave a specific reason as to why I was no longer considered a Categorization Master. I have no idea what I did or where I went wrong, and I haven't had any tasks rejected in quite some time. The email stated that recently I've shown "poor performance", which is almost insulting! Especially considering I always put forth my best effort in completing tasks accurately and as requested. It's such a pain not knowing what I wasn't doing right, and thinking I was fine all along. After being a Master for about a year, my wallet is going to take a hit. Can anyone offer any insight into this, or is there anyone else out there in this situation? Needless to say I'm pretty frustrated at the moment.
For some reason it's impossible for me to send an email to the "contactus@mturk.com" address, they never go through. I contacted the requester and he says that he didn't report anything and hasn't even reviewed the work yet. I wish it wasn't so difficult to get in touch with mturk.
