Roughly 3/4 of my rejections have been due to problems on the requester side. Sometimes they compensate by means of bonus but don't go to the trouble of reversing the reject. I guess it's just something one has to live with on mturk.
get use to it, 10/12 of my rejections are due to issues that are not at all related to quality of work. 3 of them were suppose to be dropped, one could not figure out how and 2 said it would and it never happened, the others just ignored me.
Yeah one chick told me she was revoking one, I don't know how long it usually takes, but it was 3 weeks ago and its still there
I would follow up with her. If she says she can't figure it out, link her to the thread in the resources section.
Yeah, I like it especially when I never hear from them again after sending them the how-to-reverse-reject link in a reply to the "I don't know how to do it" justification. It hardly seems worth it sometimes.
What email did everyone use to get a hold of the Inveni requester? I emailed him on the one he listed on his Hits well over 2 hours ago and have yet to get the qualification to work on his Hits :[
at the very least I think they should cut the value of a rejection in half. Rejection is really there for quality control and prevent scammers. I do quality work, like i saiid 10/12 of mine are bogus yet I suffer from it just because the quality lack son the other end, the requester. no quality control on that end so they should have less power. from what I can gather every rejection takes 2000 hits to break even. thats a fairly large number I dont care what batch you get your fingers on. even if you get a great batch its likely you will pick up a rejection out of the 2000 you do so you get no where. ... Approved 4680 99.7% ... Rejected 12 0.3%

I used the contact requester link. He got back with me within 15 minutes and approved my qualification. The only thing was I did some and then my mind went blank. I couldn't think of anymore movies.
