the highest i have seen is 8.00 dollars. I accepted it and the hit required me to go to another site. after clicking on the link it took me to the requester's page, only for it to tell me that the site has full capacity of the number of people allowed to log in at any given time. I returned the hit, and as with mturk when i tried to accept it again, it was gone.

Small world! I tried that same HIT, the guy wrote to me and said he had server problems and he'd have to resubmit, but I don't know if he ever did.

I did a HIT for $99 recently. It involved helping a guy customize his Wordpress installation and fixing some conflicts between a couple of plugins. For the small amount of actual work involved, I would have done it for much less, but $99 is fine with me. :D

That is an amazingly high hit! Great job, I haven't heard of any higher than that (but then again I have only been on mTurk for a few weeks)

If anyone here is good with Wordpress and PHP, I suggest following the Wordpress release schedule carefully. Every new release seems to break compatibility with something, often with many things, so in the following weeks you can pick up a good amount of work helping people rescue their broken blog installations. MTurk rarely has such work posted, but keep an eye on freelance coding websites and you'll probably find something. Craigslist is a great source for small jobs like that as well.

I believe the highest I have seen has been 12.50. I'm not in it for the big buck or time consuming work. I like the little hits that I can do while watching television and during my kid's nap, etc. It's fun.

I grabbed a $14 hit a few weeks ago. The requester wanted a bunch of advertising blurbs written for Gutter Helmet systems in different cities. Each paragraph had to be entirely different from all the rest of them, so I kept writing the paragraph every which way I could. It was a good hit and I was happy!

I got 7 dollars once for doing a video class. That was great, because I could do other things at the same time.

Seriously, $99 is amazing and even $50 is amazing. I read on another thread that someone did a HIT over a three day period and it ended up being worth $50 but those three are the highest I've heard so far. Its encouraging but i think very very rare.

    There was one for $100.

I have seen hits for $50, $90 and $100 here. The highest one was for chinese translation, and it got accepted within a very short time.

There was a huge hit worth $20 but it was for designing a whole website.
    It went pretty fast too.

I think the highest paying HIT I had was $5.oo, but I have yet to see anything else that matches it that doesn't include rewriting an article! ;]

Wowo, you must be really good at what you do. I need more computer skills!
