They are spam bots. I used to get them on my forums too. Hopefully they don't flood up the forum too much =/
They've been increasing lately. I think if we just start ignoring them completely all the way around, every time they post something, no one says anything. If they sent a pm, no one replies, maybe they will go away?
I'm not sure how the ones on forums work, but if they're anything like the bastards that get on my blog comments, if you just go about your business they'll calm down. Calling them out- even if bots- triggers more hoopla.
