Wow. I'm pretty shocked, I honestly didn't think I'd ever see Masters.. woke up this morning to two emails telling me I've earned the Master Quals. Good wake up.. still shocked!
They probably determined that their default Masters hit policy wasn't working without more Masters. Not that you don't deserve it.
When a requester puts up a hit, it automatically goes to the Masters qualification, so if a requester doesn't understand this or want to bother to change the settings, only Masters will be able to do their hits. This is a change from what it was up until a few months ago.They apparently did this because it costs the requester more for a Masters hit and Amazon can take a bigger cut.

I have been watching the numbers now on the various Masters quals....and they are going up, slowly. Like about 15 people a day. Congrats!
I agree with you on they needed more masters for their scheme to work. Seems like a lot of people lately including myself have gotten masters. The sad thing is I still do not do the masters only hits. I still do the hits I always did. I have seen none that benefited me more.

I do a variety of surveys and batches but have never done a writing hit. Beats me what the formula is.
also, idk about yall but I never did any of those amazon requester inc. hits. I would look out for them because I thought that was what helped people get masters. guess not.
The day before I got the qual the only thing I did different is that I did Social Media for the first time. Other than that I do Crowdsource, crowdflower, medcrowd, praveen (if it shows), ppc and occasional misc. I don't do surveys. I have 33000 approved with 99.5% rating.
