I honestly don't know how Staten Island got such a bad name. Every cop I've talked to *loves* it there, cause relative to Brooklyn and the rest it's like paradise.
I must admit, I don't envy the toll fees though.

To be honest, most things close early in all the boroughs. There's the occasional Mexican food or 24hr diner but that's about it unless it's the weekend. So, don't feel too bad about it. I'd rather take 'bored' over 'stabbed' any night of the week. hehehe

That's true, except Manhattan of course.. Not much crime here in Staten Island except for the "bad" areas, but every place has those.. I don't think anyone is ever satisfied with where they live though, lol.
