My suggestion

    Find some people who are willing to pay more for completing HITS. I would like to see some people who would like documents re-typed for like about $5.00 or more.

    I agree that higher payments would be great, however when people are willing to work for lower amounts there is no use in increasing the pricing.

    Good points all around. I think there are some tasks that are worth more, but perhaps mturk could institute some sort of dutch auction or bidding process to set a price?

    You have a freelancer and others if you want to bid. I don't think that would be a smart idea. No hard feeling ;)

    lets go on strike and refuse to take work if it doesn't pay.

    establish the turk union?


    I'm a super fast typer, this may be something I could handle...
