Really can't figure it out, but the HITs just won't work for me. Firefox or Chrome.

What version of Firefox are you using? Someone just emailed me and said her Firefox is displaying 2 audio bars - one works and the other doesn't. Not sure what version she is using...

Chrome was working fine for us when we uploaded the HITs a little while ago. what is happening with these damn browsers today?!

I've noticed that on the email HITs an alert box pops up saying "Please ensure all emails are typed correctly" but it does not give the option to go back and check and possibly change, you can only select 'okay' which submits the HIT.

Stupid Amazon. It shouldn't submit the record if an error is thrown. Nothing ever works the same for you all as it does when I test the HITs. It's annoying, I know, but please don't let it deter you.

    Hi Franklin,

For partial emails, do you want us to put the partial in the email box?
I've been flagging them as partial, and typing the partial email in the comments, but then was wondering if I should put it in the main Email box as well.

    Thanks!

Both in Firefox and Chrome I see 2 audio bars, but none working at the moment.

  8. I'm doing the same too. Marking it as partial and typing in all the parts I hear.

Hello. As long as you are selecting "partial/fragmented email" from the dropdown, then you will be fine. You can enter the partiel email address in the email field if you want but it is not required.

Apparently, there was a major browser update recently that is causing Firefox to not play WAV files at all - similar to the way IE9 treats WAV files. I am trying to figure out how to fix my code for future HITs but for now please just do the best you can.

For those of you who aren't having audio problems, will you please reply with the browser and version you are using?

    thanks.

    Hi Franklin,

Thank you for the quick reply to my question.

I am having no problem with the audio on your HITs, and I am using Firefox 16.0.2 on a MacBook.

  12. Firefox is also displaying two audio bars for me. The second one works, though.

Hi, all. For those who are having trouble with Firefox, please be sure you also have Quicktime installed as well. Unfortunately, you will see 2 audio bars, but you should have 1 that will play.

Is anyone able to get the audio to work on the name HITs?

I am able to hear the audio but I do see the two players, also one hit I did had the same audio on 2 of them. I am getting an error saying something like must type email format correct. I am typing them correct and it wont let you go back and check. I'm using FireFox 16.0.2

Just read the previous post...#106. I am sure he is trying to get it to work properly.

The audio on the name Hits isn't working for me either. It used to show two recording tabs and I was able to use quick time player to play audio but now it doesn't show up.

  20. I am using Firefox and was doing them just fine but now with the reposted version I only see one bar and it does not work.
