He actually did steal the wife of the guy who made his artificial voice. She was the nurse who became his second wife (who reportedly beat him.) He was also known to frequent strip clubs and at least one sex club. He knew exactly what his reputation was and had a lot of fun with it. Did you not notice he cooperated with the making of this video?

ETA: He was NOT the greatest mind of his time. He was the most famous physicist, largely because he courted the publicity, but he was not the best. That was (and still is) Edward Witten.

I don't recall Witten ever being on popular hit show The Big Bang Theory. What better proof do you need that Hawking is more brilliant? What other lies are you are going to tell me?
