WOOT got me a pirate!

 

Based on what I am seeing from the approvals and small amount of HITs being thrown back, it seems that if there are 2 out of 3 of the same answer, he is approving them and keeping them. If there is disagreement between all three, he is throwing them back in the batch. Until i see a rejection, i am assuming this is his process.

 

Mine are approving now from yesterday.

 

blargh, not even $8 today, and i woke up with $5.05 from late night medcrowds...

yes, that was pretty much his explanation from the other night...

 

When I first started I thought Oscar was the only sure fire batch hitter in town. Now that I have found this board I know that isn't true.

Thanks to the advice, hints, and tips I have gotten from this forum, I have the knowledge to be able to ignore Oscar for good now.

I was on another board that required me to post a zillion hits before getting to the supposedly "good material..." When I got there I didn't find anything particularly worth the wait. I have learned more in a week from you guys than 2 months on another forum.

Sooooo..THANK YOU GUYS for helping me to start making double digit money everyday and helping me to banish my dependence on Oscar.

Yes Peter (Mfuze) said that it is based on "majority rules" but that is just on their end (from what he says) if you do the work, you will get paid because you "tried your best" that is what he said. He said if it gets two out of three it goes on, if all three are different then it gets passed on to two more workers to try and get 3 out of 5. He said yesterday in "Can't Find Any Good Hits 12/11" that no one would be rejected and the way pay works is; "Once all of the HITs are done, we go through them and when we finish, we pay out" (not exact quotes on that part"

I went HAM on them and submitted 500. Hope it works out. Yesterdays thread has all the info, I sent him one last email yesterday but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. He seemed legit though.

 

Hopefully he adds more too lol..

 

If you do not have any children between the ages of 8 and 12, do not take the survey.

I think I'm going to :ban: my own self from working on cf sentiment hits unless the 50 cent/Eminem are up. They are quick, easy, and pass the time away but I spend more time explaining why I think quality control is wrong then working the hits.

 

Oscar Smith is the epitome of why Mturk gets criticism.
