Can't Find Good HITs? 12/30

I do generally, but it doesn't change the fact that some courses aren't like Intro to Psych or Macroeconomics that are going to be offered once or twice a year. Some, like Discrete Math or Differential Equations are only offered every couple of years. If I go through the trouble of finding that out, it's ridiculous that they expect me to just return it. If it's offered in 2011 or earlier, I'll include the info with a note saying so, but if it's not offered, it needs to be removed from the work pool, otherwise I don't get compensated for actually doing the work and someone else eventually wastes their time as well doing the exact same damn thing.

Edit: note, this turned into a bit of venting. I'm glad you were able to communicate with them and I hope you get your rejections reversed. I just think their attitude towards this is completely counterproductive.

 

Slee added a line to the instructions since yesterday re: q 14, 15, 16 im sure thats what got people

Wow, i have never got my slees rejected, i think i am going to stop doing them anyways because that would destroy my account.

 

I've done about 500 Slees without a rejection.

Are you all doing all of them? I've been sticking to the ones with shorter messages because they're quicker and there's a smaller chance of messing up.

I think so too. It was bolded as if he approved them last time and wanted to let ppl know they were done wrong before.

 

Email slee about it and he should fix it. Whenever I've heard of mass rejections or blocks regarding him, it has always been accidental.
I've never had to communicate with him, but I've heard he is pretty reasonable.

Wonka, if you're communicating with Rubin, maybe it's worth inviting them over to a Rubin thread in the Requesters forum? We might be able to talk some of the issues out.

 

I think someone did already last week. Either way I sent them a link to Rob's thread about reversing rejections. I hope they do.

 

WE are fucked....at least i am....hey i talked to slee..says there is nothing he can do about the rejects so i tell him what about if he accepts them and then i send him the payments over amazon.....he had the NERVE TO TELL ME HAPPY NEW YEAR AFTER SAYING HE WOULD REJECT ALL OF THOSE HITS>>>>>>>>.... this sure is gonna lag me down for about 3 weeks .....does anybody know a way me and slee could work around those rejections can he take them back ...how does that work???????

Well, I honestly feel sorry for the mass rejects today. I can only image how I would feel if it happened to me. To be honest I keep refreshing my account so that I can see my remaining 30 pending. That said, 200 Rubins being submitted with N/A is beyond ridiculous. Even if it was legit, at some point you have to return some of those. I wish all of you good luck, and hope that it all works out in the end, for all of us.

 

I meant this as a good thing towards rubin since he is cleaning up scammers not a negative remark towards you, I read the thread.

 

Good night to you guys! Had a long evening setting up the new Turk office. Got a nice modern desk, with a cherry color wood. The desk had the wrong price on the price tag, at nearly half off. Needless to say they gave it to me at that price! Picked up a nice memory foam and black leather office chair, a new l.e.d. work light for them long work nights. Got the l.e.d. desk light at wally world for $10. bucks and it's super bright!
Feel like I'm ready to get some turking done in the morning!

It wasn't 200 Rubin's as N/A. It's been only about a few dozen out of about 1K HITs recently.
