Just wanted to let ya'll know an update about that hit from yesterday that some of us got rejections on from Auxso-IfD. They emailed me just now & said they'll review the hits within a day, saying "Aside from a test batch or two that we ran, these were a first try with MTurk, and we welcome the opportunity to get things right with some guidance from people such as yourself who likely have more experience." So, hopefully they're legit... I'll update you as I hear more.

 

Brian K. Jones is posting more similar batches. Looks like he's testing out the quals and payrate.

 

the fact they replied is a great sign honestly. thats the biggest step toward it being legit. crap requesters ignore responses.

 

As much as I wanted to shit stomp them on TO yesterday after hearing about some rejections, all of mine were approved.

i did 2 of these and got rejected. the day before i did 85 from a different kind of batch they had all were approved. im not sure what to think of this requester

 

Yeah, that's what I figured. I know there were a couple of hits that I wasn't 100% sure about because they were foreign addresses in foreign languages & if they still reject those, I'm good with that. I'm just ticked that I got 14 rejections when I don't have a clue why as I believe I followed their instructions to the T on all the others, so I'm just happy that they've agreed to review them.

 

i cannot wait until these category hits are gone...

Happened to me last week and I couldn't do HITs for 6 days. I called 3 times and they always say the 'specialists' that can help you don't have phones and they'll email you in a day or two. I sent numerous emails and it was finally taking care of. I actually had to call again this morning because I have about 1500 HITs that were approved in the span my account was suspended and the status on them is still 'approved-pending payment'.

 

Seems like he's experimenting and checking which qual will prove better, "Categorization masters" or "10k+99%"

My mind can finally return to normal. Geez, somethings should not be categorized. just saying
