Totally. I'm averaging 25 seconds a piece bc of the laptop. I guess the pay is low bc he put 24000 hits up!
If it weren't for turkalert, I'd still be laying on the couch with my daughter watching The Cat in the Hat and getting snuggles.
The # of HITs keep going up and up and up lol. When I started it was 17k, then 20k+, now at 31k+! How cow!
I am at 923 hits submitted. If I keep doing these chemistry ones, I can get to my 1000 and then more hits for me.
I like 'em. Quick and mindless Pay may not be great, but I'll made more doing this than just searching around for something better
Good morning everyone. It's been a while, but I'm back...and broke as hell from Christmas. Time to get to work.
Morning, Lin. Come join us. Only in MTurk where lower than minimum wage is legal... Anyway those Chem HITS makes me think of Breaking Bad, an excellent show that I got hooked into.
I'm done doing those HITs. For 3 or 4 cents a piece, I'd grind them until my fingers fall off, but for 2 it doesn't make sense to put forth that much work.
$4 Sirius project if you did it on the 21st https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=26V8XBAT2D5N7G2RJ3H0QG5V0VR157 There are also 19 David Kasch that are $1.10
So I emailed Peter about the prices of the HITS and how we feel they are too low. This is the response I got back. Great guy. I haven't responded yet. What should I say? Hi --------- I share your thoughts. Indeed this hits are a bit underpriced, I wasn't sure what price should I choose as it was the first time I was asking for a copy+paste work. There will be a follow up for this chemistry hits where you will have to search online for a reaction with one of the elements being copied now. For example you are given the element: H2SO4 and you are required to search for a (any) chemistry equation that contains this element and write is into a form. What do you think a decent pay would be? Sincerely Peter
If the job is easy enough, building your stats is pretty big motivator. .06 cents would be sufficent. But .10 would be awesome.
I was thinking the same thing, but with dual monitors (or split screen, even) it's just "open new window>>drag/drop x3>>submit" and is between 15-20 seconds...and for me, I only have 2500 approved so I need to build numbers until something more lucrative comes along, anyway.
I think it should be .10 at the least, because it seems like there will be a google search + opening a new page to copy and paste.
