wow. it's freakin' freezing outside. i'm so done living in the northeast. so. done. also, a little late to the party, but if i didn't see what people were making, whether they were bragging or showing off or just mentioning it, i would never have started turking, and i'd be in deep manure as far as my bills go. i also think when people have really good days it lures some of the lurkers out of hiding to ask what someone might be doing to earn that much, so as long as the person is contributing i can handle a little boasting. not to mention that we all have different goals here, so i don't think anything should be taken too personally.
georgia is still nice this time of year. Not freezing, but a nice crispness in the air But i wouldn't know. I'm inside turking
ha, my dad retired and moved to florida like 90% of new yorkers, and ever since all he does is whine and complain about the weather. he doesn't know how many times he's almost gotten hung up on...
Do y'all do those Kilps TOS moderation hits? I just had the cuuutest video =-D Babbling baby. asdkjaskldjsakl
I agree, in fact I came out of lurkdom today, so maybe there's something to that. Sasquatch, DUDE - your MTurk stats are amazing.
If you go back - it was mentioned that it didn't take the whole day. There were breaks. I enjoy seeing it, too. If I made $100 a day one day turking? I'm shouting from the roof tops!
You guys are missing the point, there is nothing wrong with sharing your stats, accomplishments..just do it in a different thread, haven't you all wondered why everyone is new. Not a single person is here from when I joined this forum. Everyone is gone, including the person that started this thread, he shows up every once in a while, but he used to start the thread every single day. This thread isn't what Rob (RWStein) wanted it to be. We don't have to use one thread to write everything we are feeling. There should be different threads to pull you into what it is you want to read. If Andy wanted just one thread where people could just talk about whatever they wanted there wouldn't be a tab dedicated to start a thread. My 2 cents...Sorry, I just keep trying to stick around this forum and it's hard sometimes.
I agree, it is best to keep stats discussions in the stats thread. Many people here monitor this thread to find good hits and it clouds the thread up.
For those that like writing articles, David Matchett has quite a few hits up right now. Gonna snag a couple for myself
I keep enough tabs open I don't need 23422 more for each thread on a different topic. I think as long as people are contributing hits a little chatter is okay. I mean they obviously used the hits from this thread (MedCrowd + Tim) to get to their goal as they mentioned. So it shows that this thread works....
Really easy questions about fast food. It took me a little over ten minutes but I am watching King of the Hill and know some of you could do it fast. >.> Short Survey on Menu Items Requester: Bowinkle Reward: $0.50 per HIT HITs Available: 1 Duration: 60 minutes Qualifications Required: HIT approval rate (%) is greater than 95, Location is US
Dang I guess I started a crazy debate here. I wasn't tryin to come across as bragging or anything. I was doing this 100 dollar challange to see if it was possible. That's it. And who better to share that than with everyone that does this everyday with me? I was not trying to piss anyone off just sharing my accomplishment and maybe motivating others to work a little more, knowing its possible.
When I first moved to my little rural no fast food town I wanted fast food all the time but now I don't crave it at all. When we go to Vegas to work I hate having to eat it. x_x ....Oh wait McDonalds fries are always pretty good though. hah
i don't love fast food by any means, but i'm in a pretty small suburb after living in nyc for many years, so it's part about craving and part about lack of choice and access... i want to be able to get some damn nuggets first, then we'll see if i wanna eat em lol
